Learn to Swim Leigh – Children’s Swimming Lessons

Well look no further, the multi award winning Star Swimming Academy holds Swimming lessons in Leigh every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Everlast Fitness Club for children over the age of 3.

This pool venue is fantastic for parents looking for learn to swim sessions for their child in the West Leigh, Firs Lane, Atherton, Platt Bridge, Abram, Hindley Green and Hindsford areas of Leigh and Wigan.

Our swimming lessons in Leigh utilise the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework which helps your child become a confident and competent swimmer through fun and enjoyment. Utilising the framework, the Star Swimming Academy instructors will guide children through the 7 stages of the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme.

Each of the 7 stages of the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework has a clear set of targets for the pupil to meet so they can get to the next stage. It is the most widely known part of swimming lessons for children and is the backbone of swimming lessons for primary school aged children.
Our friendly and fully qualified swim instructors have in-depth knowledge and experience working with children of all ages and abilities. They will help your child to learn to swim by breaking down the complexity of swimming into easy-to-follow steps that will allow children to progress through the seven stages of the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework.

Our fun and friendly approach to learning to swim, allows all children to develop the core aquatic skills needed to become competent swimmers. These are:

Group Lesson Times and Schedules

Our ‘Learn to Swim’ to group sessions are held every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Sessions are 30 minutes long and are held at the following times:
Mon: 4.00pm to 4.30pm
Mon: 4.30pm to 5.00pm
Mon: 5.00pm to 5.30pm
Mon: 5.30pm to 6.00pm
Mon: 6.00pm to 6.30pm

Tues: 4.00pm to 4.30pm
Tues: 4.30pm to 5.00pm
Tues: 5.00pm to 5.30pm
Tues: 5.30pm to 6.00pm
Tues: 6.00pm to 6.30pm

Weds: 4.00pm to 4.30pm
Weds: 4.30pm to 5.00pm
Weds: 5.00pm to 5.30pm
Weds: 5.30pm to 6.00pm
Weds: 6.00pm to 6.30pm

Costs

Each lesson costs £8.00 per lesson and are booked in blocks of 6 lessons.
When booking lessons a payment of £48.00 is required in advance of your child starting their first lesson.

An invoice will be sent prior to the end of each block of 6 lessons to re-enrol for the following term.
