“Food For Thought”
When you start out as a swimming instructor and looking for a vacancies at a swim school, ask your self a few questions:
- Will I be lone working, if so how many swimmers will I have?
- If lone working, will I be able to deal with stresses of taking the class on my own?
- Will I have any support in the water?
- Is teaching children with armbands, really teaching?
- Is it worth £1 more an hour to work alone, under pressure to deliver or to work for a competitive hourly rate with all the support in and out of the water?
At the Star Swimming Academy we actively promote a fun enjoyable experience first and foremost for our teachers. Team working plays a massive part in what we do, nobody is ever alone in or out of the pool!
