Happy New Year 2021

As the year 2020 comes to a close, we reflect on what has been a unpredictable 9 months that saw the world come to a standstill and try to overcome the many difficulties that has made living life quite hard for families, friends, businesses and ourselves. But as we near the end of this year, we all should accept the fact that with every passing year, one should leave behind the bad memories, hardship and reflect on the good times.

Over the last 9 months, the Star Swimming Academy has faced many many hardships during this unprecedented and difficult time. but with the support of the wonderful parents of our fabulous students, you have helped us survive. I cannot thank you personally enough for this fantastic support.

At the same time I want to thank all our staff, you have been outstanding and helped the Academy achieve many many accolades over the last 12 months. Due to your commitment and passion in what you do, the Star Swimming Academy has been recognised for being the best in what it does in and out of the pool. You have helped us achieve many distinguished awards, such as being named as the:

Corporate LiveWire Global Awards – Swim School of the Year
Liverpool Fitness Professional Awards – Sports Group of the Year
SME UK North West Awards – Swim School of the Year
SME UK North West Awards – Sport Coaching Business of the Year
Swimming Teacher Association Accredited Swim Star Swim School

The above awards are an acknowledgement of the dedication of all our staff and the academy as a whole – you are not just the best, you are the best – Thank You!

This month saw us open up a new learn to swim program in a fantastic venue, with the help of Alfie Hinks who runs Seascope Maritime Training, the pool will be used exclusively by the Star Swimming Academy to provide swimming lessons.

Additionally, we started new classes in Leigh with the wonderful support of Sports Direct Fitness who we believe have recognised the good work we do, and we have recognised what a fantastic company they are to work with.

So now, as we embrace the upcoming year, 2021, we have to be positive, cheery and have aspirations for the future. I want to wish all the Parents, the Students, Business Partner, Our staff and not forgetting my wife, Claire and daughter, Heidi and of course all the beautiful supportive families of our staff very Happy New Year.
