Adult and Ladies Only Swimming Lessons in Ormskirk at Hurlston Hall

Are you an adult looking to learn to swim? The Star Swimming Academy holds adult and ladies only swimming lessons in Ormskirk every Tuesday at Hurlston Hall Golf Club and Country Club.

This pool location is ideal for adult’s and ladies looking to learn to swim in the Ormskirk, Burscough, Scarisbrick, Lathom, Bickerstaffe, Skelmersdale, Halsall and Aughton areas of West Lancashire.

Our ‘Adult and Ladies Only’ learn to swim sessions utilise well established and unique teaching methods that have been used to help over a thousand adults learn how to swim and overcome their fear of water over the last 16 years. Our friendly swim instructors have in depth experience working with adults of all ages and levels, and can help breakdown the complexity of swimming into comfortable easy to follow steps.

Our ‘Adult and Ladies Only Learn to Swim’ Lessons teach you to:

• Swim the following 4 strokes: front crawl, butterfly, backstroke and breastroke.
• Swim with face under the water and proper breath control.
• Perform basic water safety skills.
• Swim laps for fitness.
• Improve your stroke technique.
• Teach and develop the freestyle stroke.
• Swim faster and more efficiently for a triathlon.
• Feel comfortable swimming in your local pool or whilst on holiday.

You’re Never To Old To Learn How to Swim

No matter how old you are, you can learn how to swim and with the assistance of our instructors you will become a competent and able swimmer. Our group and private learn to swim classes for adults and ladies are the perfect starting point for adults of all ages, in our eyes, it’s never to late to learn to swim and you’re definitely never too old to take up swimming lessons; and with our help you will gain basic swimming skills in a relatively short amount of time, giving you a critical human skill, as well as a great deal of enjoyment.

How Many Learners Are In The Group Sessions?

We have no more than 5 adults in a class. This allows the teachers time to get to know all the adults in the group and assess their abilities and progress.

Group Lesson Times and Schedules

Our Ladies Only and Adult Learn to Swim Sessions are held every Tuesday. Sessions are 30 minutes long and are held at the following times:

10:30-11:00: Ladies Only Learn to Swim
11:00-11:30: Ladies Only Learn to Swim
13:00-13:30: Adult Learn to Swim
13:30-14:00: Adult Learn to Swim

Costs

Each lesson costs £7.50 and are booked in blocks of 6 lessons.

When booking lessons a payment of £45.00 is required in advance of starting your lessons.

An invoice will be sent prior to the end of each block of 6 lessons to re-enrol for the following term.
